Mark Vose & Deedee Infinideedee

Hi folks~! Last week I breezed up to Fort Lauderdale and got to hang with some awesome friends in the new scene that's really emerging on A1A just north of Oakland Park Blvd at 33rd Street. My friends and I were joined by larger-than-life mural artist MARK VOSE and his blue&gold Macaw, "Baby" who joined us at a cafe on 33rd. Fishtales club, a couple doors down, had soundman and community rabblerouser Jimmy Pagano in full swing doing sound for one of the many bands he brings in there each week...More photos coming soon to keep you updated on this awesome scene....

Most folks don't know that besides painting GIANT MURALS that he is also a recording artist who writes and produces many whimsical, silly, creative oddities that always get me bellylaughing. He will be a regular guest on my show, and I can't wait to share his humour with you all. He is currently in the process of covering an entire alley next to 33rd Street with his murals, making it ART ALLEY!!!! A must-see if you are in Lauderdale near the beach!!!!

MEANWHILE....Back home in the Keys, I was delighted to be visited by the awesome, indescribably deliciously naughty ~*~SPARKLE~*~*, who helped co-host my show last Monday night. Sparkle is in town from Ocala, Florida, and I hope will have her own radio show soon where she will feature her Lady Gaga FABULOUSNESS and glam rap. We are also working on syncing up LIVE VIDEO that will run concurrently of us DOING the radio show Live WHOOO WHOOOO!!!

TUESDAY NIGHTa, THEEEE Place to Be is the Sugarloaf Tiki Lodge where Keyz Kurt Gooch and Billybob Mackenzie host the only keys all-pro- Jam Night. Great Food and Drink Specials. The Lodge is at MM 16 near the flashing yellow light, back on the water behind the Lodge. 7pm to 11pm~~ DOGS are WELCOME!!

WEDnesday Nights my crazy musical crews tend to hang out up in Marathon at the HURRICANE Wed. Open Mic with lots of great players always showing up, including my former radio guest and member of the folk-rock group AMERICA....TOMMY SANTELLI....
This jam is INDOORS and full restaurant...Lovely MIA at the bar....Tony Napoli hosts the jam.... This one starts at 9pm and goes til midnight. It's on gulfside, next to the big BLACKFIN sign....

THURSDAY NIGHTS is ALWAYS the COOLEST PATIO PARTAY outside at MANGROVE MAMAs OPEN MIC HOsted by the Great Vibe Guy himself, WILL PARKER. This one is mostly acoustic, a VERY welcoming jam, dog friendly, and full restaurant plus dollar drafts all night!!! And half price appetizers ($3 bucks for tuna, people!!!) BEFORE 7pm!!! This jam goes from 7pm til 10:30pmish. STOP ON BY! Will has a great guitar set up so just show up and sing :)
